The Air-Eagle® XLT Plus has a transmit output power of 1 watt - the strongest allowed by the FCC. It provides a dramatic increase in range and powers through buildings and other obstacles. is With optional antennas & repeaters, the Air-Eagle XLT Plus can easily reach 10 to 25 miles!
Transmitters are available in two styles –
handheld or stationary. The handheld transmitters have four function buttons
and are limited to about 3500 feet operating range. The stationary transmitters are contact input models
that accept either 2 or 4 dry contact inputs from an external relay or
switching device and are often used in situations requiring automatic
activation. Pushbuttons can be added however, if a mounted style is
preferred but manual activation is required. Receivers are available with either 2 or 8 independent SPDT relays that are factory programmable for any combination of momentary or latching operation, and can be directly interfaced with the customer's equipment or P.L.C.. They come equipped with a rubber duck antenna, but will require external antennas to achieve maximum range.
Transceivers provide both inputs and outputs to allow for "back & forth" communication between two or more units.
