In an emergency, every second counts. BWI Eagle Wireless E-stops provide mobile, flexible emergency shutdown capability when fixed e-stops are out of reach. These lightweight units can be carried, clipped to a belt or mounted in a vehicle, giving workers immediate access to stop operations. The standard operating range is up to 5,000 feet and the extended range is up to 10 miles, depending on the model.
Each system features two-way communication between the transmitter and receiver, with a built-in heartbeat signal to continuously monitor the connection. When the wireless e-stop is activated—or if the connection is lost—the system de-energizes linked relays, stopping machinery and preventing unprotected operation.
